# A Virtual Voyage to Japan: Way to Sakura Blooms Through International Leo Collaboration

On April 25th, 2025, three Leo Clubs from different corners of South Asia came together for a shared celebration of language, learning, and culture — **WAY TO SAKURA**, an international virtual session dedicated to Japanese culture and communication.

Jointly organized by the **Leo Club of Kathmandu Himalayas Patan (Nepal)**, **Leo Club of Minuwangoda Circle (Sri Lanka)**, and **Leo Club of Gauhati (India)**, the session marked a beautiful example of cross-border unity, where youth from different nations explored the elegance and essence of Japan together.

## Blossoming Cultural Curiosity

Hosted via Google Meet, *Way to Sakura* guided participants through:

* The **cultural significance of cherry blossoms (sakura)** in Japan
    
* Fundamental **Japanese greetings and language basics**
    
* **Customs, festivals, and social etiquette** unique to Japanese society
    
* Insights into **how culture shapes communication** in Japan and beyond
    

The interactive, visually rich session was not only informative but also emotionally engaging — sparking genuine interest in Japan’s traditions and lifestyle.
